Seronegative spondyloarthopathy

This 40 year old business man in south Mumbai was having a disease called  Seronegative spondyloarthopathy for 10 years which caused his hip joint to become damaged. He was under regular treatment of a Rheumatologist. His Hip pain increased gradually over 10 year to a limit that he was bed ridden due to severe pain and virtually no movement possible at both the hips.

Xrays showed severe damage to hip joint with complete loss of any joint space.

He had both Hip Replacement surgery done at Laud Clinic. He continued his treatment with the Rheumatologist for his medical condition.

After surgery, he could manage his business successfully which involved standing for long hours and frequent travel to various shops in Mumbai on a daily basis.

Now after 20 years of surgery he still does all his daily activities and goes for daily walk. He does yearly follow up at the clinic and till now had no problems.
